Panther- pf is prepared of bacteria, pseudomonas fluorescence, and used against plant diseases. Mode of action: the bacteria penetrates into the vascular system of germination plants and produce antibiotics which prevent the germination of fungal spores, check the growth of pathogenic fungi, destroy their cell wall and finally kill those. Pseudomonas fluorescence also controls nematodes and secretes some growth regulators which balances growth of plants.
Use: can be used in all field crops, vegetables, fruit, flower and plantation crops for control of brown spot, sheath blight, bacterial wilt, stem rot and a host of other diseases. Method of application: Seed treatment: mix 1 kg seed with a small quantity of rice starch mixed with 5-10 gm pseudomonas. Sow the treated seed as soon as possible.
Seedling treatment: mix 5 gm pseudomonas with 3 gm cutting aid in a litre of water. Keep uprooted seedlings and cuttings immersed in the above mixture for 10-15 mins. Before planting. Soil treatment: mix 1 kg pseudomonas in 25 kg of cow dung manure and apply in one acre during land preparation. Foliar spray: mix 5 gm of pseudomonas in one litre of water and spray over affected crop.
